Who Are You Following? Men or God?

For such false apostles are deceitful workers, and transform themselves into the Apostles of Christ. And no marvel: for Satan himself is transformed into an Angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing, though his ministers transform themselves, as though they were the ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

What we call “church” today is not what Jesus Christ established, but instead are organizations built and orchestrated by the hands of man. Our “churches” are based on the rules and traditions of man, and they encapsulate the same spirit and bondage that existed in the Old Covenant. Do Not Be Deceived: If you are part of this man-made system that the world calls “church” – you are following its’ leaders and the religious crowd. It is not the Church in the New Testament. You are following men and have allowed them to usurp Christ’s Lordship in your life. If you truly desire to put Jesus first, we hope at least you will look into what we are saying here. In due time, we will clearly demonstrate through God’s Word, how “church leaders” are not functioning as the elders did in the New Testament. But more importantly, we will substantiate that what we call and understand to be “church” for centuries – never existed when the New Testament was written.

Men have built many “churches” – Jesus Christ built only one Church. Jesus and He alone is the Head of the Church. There is no other. Most believers have substituted “church” for their relationship with Jesus. They have embraced a false gospel, and we assure you that the vast majority of believers are walking on the broad road of destruction. We appeal to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to get off this road before it is too late, and make the decision to enter through the narrow gate. What Satan has presented as good, and as if it is ordained by God – is a contrivance birthed out of the motives and traditions of men.

For the time being, we ask that you set aside any fears or emotions, and carefully look into what we are saying. Most believers immediately reject a concept as false teaching, simply because it has been denounced by the men and women they follow and esteem. First and foremost, we must look into God’s Word in its pure and simple form, without adding traditions or religious acts to it. We need to study God’s Word for ourselves, and not just accept what someone say (including us), without validating it. Instead of applying the teachings of men to the Scriptures – we need to take the Scriptures first, and validate man’s teachings. Many will soon discover that a great deal of their teachings are false. The greatest deception by far is the mandate that believers are required to attend and support this thing we call “church,” which is fed and propelled through idolatry.

It is vital that we consider God’s Word in the proper context in which it was written. For this reason, it is important that every believer have at least a minor grasp of “church” history. We pray the Holy Spirit will begin to peel away at the scales covering your eyes, and for you to come to the realization that 2,000 years later, we are still in bondage to the laws and traditions of man. Not God’s laws – man’s laws. These are the very laws that Jesus Christ redeemed us from at the cross. We have been beguiled for centuries into believing that this thing we call “church” is from God. Our relationship with Jesus is not contingent on anything orchestrated or built by the hands of man. We know our site is going to offend many, and we are sorry about this, but the truth is more important. Your eternal destiny and the destiny of others are at stake here.

This thing we call “church” is an idolatrous substitute for our relationship with Jesus that has no biblical basis. Satan has successfully compromised the Body of Christ with the world’s standards and methods. For most, it is hard to fathom that these institutions can be so detrimental, because we deem them as holy and benevolent. We falsely believe by attending these places that we are safe in God’s eyes. We enjoy the false sense of spiritual maturity we gain by attending “church,”and being involved in all the activities and programs it has to offer. Let’s be totally honest here – we want others to think of us as “spiritual” Christians. For many, “church” provides us with entertainment, and is basically a religious social club for a great number of believers.

All of these things centers around “church” – Jesus is a byproduct, although touted as the star. Make no mistake – the star is “church” – not Jesus. Not only are these places idolatrous to its very core, but they have completely deconstructed the Ecclesia that Jesus Himself built. We have reinvented the Church, and have forever altered our witness and impact in the world. Again, our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to this deception, and that you would be willing to put Jesus first, over your emotions and this man-made system. Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom as you look into and contemplate what we are saying. In order to do this, you have to commit yourself to searching the truth. The only way to do so requires putting Christ first over your own desires.

What you do now will truly determine who is Lord over your life. If it is man, you will leave this site immediately. Your flesh will not permit you to go any further because the flesh always fears the truth. God’s Word says He that is spiritual examines all things (1 Corinthians 2:15). If you sincerely desire to please God, you will continue to read. Why? Because that means you are willing to risk hearing something you rather not hear – because pleasing Him is more important than your personal comfort and desires. Going somewhere you rather not is worth the risk if you truly put Him first. And as in all things – at the end of the day, you are still free to believe as you wish. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman – He will not force you. We too ran away (over and over again) when God first confronted us about our idolatry, but in the end, His truth prevailed over our own desires.

What we understand as “church” today is a counterfeit system and concept that originated out of Roman Catholicism. Protestants, your “churches’”are just as idolatrous and unbiblical as the “Catholic Church.” Indeed, you are indebted to the “Catholic Church” for this system you have adopted – and worship. I repeat this system You worship. Both are man-made systems bred out idolatry and the traditions of man, and are fueled by your own idolatry. You are the driving force behind this system that serves as an idolatrous substitute for Jesus Christ. Jesus is a byproduct of this thing we call “church.” This is a system created by men walking in the flesh – for those who walk in the flesh. It stands in place of the one and only True Church Jesus created. To put Jesus and this man-made system on the same level is nothing but idolatry.

Any person who claims that Jesus commanded believers to attend “church” is either deceived – or is a liar. Nowhere in the New Testament did Jesus instruct believers to build “churches” or join them. “Churches” did not exist when the New Testament was written. Jesus certainly want us to have fellowship with other believers, but that only requires 2 or 3 believers at a minimum. It can be more than 2, but make no mistake – it is violation of Scripture if it is part of the man-made “church system.” The “institutional church government” is based not only a system that Jesus replaced through His death, but on a system Christ has forbidden. Satan has truly deceived us.

The word “church” in the Scriptures erroneously replaced the word Ecclesia, and was deliberately mistranslated by men with their own carnal agendas. The word “church” and Ecclesia have entirely different meanings. How do we know this? We have the original Scriptures and the true origins of the words within. God’s Word should have been enough for us, but the law and man’s traditions have taken over the Holy Spirit in our lives. You can not clearly hear the voice of the Holy Spirit if you are operating under the law. No believer will ever have a truly, genuine relationship with Jesus based on this idolatrous system that falsely presents itself as being the Church Christ built.

You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. Galations 5:4

Going to this thing we call “church” is an invention of man; it is a contrived rule birthed out tradition and works of the law. And yes – you are of the world if you have any part in such a man-made system. If Jesus means more to you than this system you call “church”, then at the very least hear us out. We are desperately trying to help you to distinguish between religion and Jesus – religion that has been taught and propagated by men for over 1,700 years. Your eternal destiny is at stake here.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27

Get into God’s Word and take Him at His Word. Stop incorporating the false teachings men have taught you, and applying them to Scripture to make them fit. If you have been prompted by the Holy Spirit that something is not right about this “church system”, then it is critical not to ignore Him. If you are so deceived that you think these “church organizations” represents Jesus, and are one and the same thing, then you truly are engaged in idolatry at the highest level.

As this site is in its infancy, we will be adding more material and information in time. We’re sorry, but if we do not speak out on the behalf of others, God will hold us unaccountable. And just as He holds us accountable for speaking the truth, so does He hold you. God expects us to defend His Word, even when it is not popular. Beloved, your eyes are blinded by the enemy and the teachings of man. Not only are you deceived, but you deceive others with this false, unbiblical gospel. You are administering death instead of life when you promote this false gospel.

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in destructive, untrue teachings, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their destructive ways; by reason of whom the way of truth will be defamed” (2 Peter 2:1-2).

Following the Crowd on the Broad Road of Destruction

Speaking of universal constants, these two definitely make the list: everyone wants to be loved – and everybody wants to belong. I have no doubt God made us that way. But for some reason, everyone thinks the majority must be right, and that’s how we get into trouble. Somehow we have it in our minds, that the crowd must have all the answers. If everyone else believes it, or is doing it, or belonging to it; then somehow it must be the right thing. It’s been the case throughout history – from slavery, the Salem Witch Trials, the McCarthy era, and from the Jewish leadership before and during the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Like the pride we identify with a winning football team, we espouse the same pride for our churches. But there is a repeating theme that many fail to recognize throughout the Bible: It was always those in the minority that followed the will of God against popular belief.

If ever there was an example of the hold and control religious leaders had over others, it would be the influence Jewish leaders had in convincing everyone that Jesus was not the Messiah. These same spiritual leaders convinced the crowd to put Christ to death by freeing Barabbas. “But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus” (Matthew 27:20). Here is a man whom they personally witnessed performed many miracles, steeped in the supernatural, never sinned, and had not commit a single crime. Yet they turned around and claimed He was a liar – deserving of death. Despite everything, the Jewish leadership still managed to convince those who believed in God the Father, that His Son was a fraud. And they succeeded. And let me tell you most assuredly, the spirit of leadership that killed Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago, is the same spirit that exists in church leadership today.

There are examples of the need to follow the crowd everywhere in our world today – from the mundane, to the forces of good and evil. One popular judge on one of the television networks, quite frequently ask the litigants “Do you go to church?”If you knew some of the content of the show, you will see the fruit he yields. And no, I’m not saying he is a bad person. Fruits produced from a counterfeit system are only bound to bear counterfeit results. Going to church does not make a person good or bad – church is an activity based on works of the law. The law is based on works – it’s not based on love, character, or having a real relationship with Jesus. Instead, this TV judge should be asking, “Do you have a relationship with Jesus?” It is a prime example of how the world places more emphasis on church institutions, as opposed to truly knowing Jesus and having a real relationship with Him.

This is one example of many, as to why there is no real power in what we call “church” today. We have the wrong church – one built by the hands of man, and we have set itself up as if it is seated at the right hand of the Father. The church Jesus built consists of believers in Christ, who recognize that He built a church of living stones. You also as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood….1Peter 2:5. God made it very clear that He does not exist in temples made of human hands. God’s Ecclesia in the New Testament, meaning “the called out ones” – were the “church” wherever they went, and they existed 24/7. They were a spiritual assembly that transcended space and religious practices and protocols.

Satan has embedded into our minds and in the Christian culture, that you can only be a good person if you belong to this system man has created and calls “church.” You can go to “church” every day of the week, once a week, twice a week, and not be saved. And it deeply saddens me to say, the people going there are putting their eternal destiny in jeopardy. Most have no clue as to how knee deep in idolatry they are. Why? Because we have allowed men to usurp Christ lordship over our lives, and have gone after the things of the flesh and the world. We have repeatedly discounted and ignored the voice of the Holy Spirit, and the things He has shown us regarding this counterfeit church system.

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. Acts 20:29-31

Satan has blinded our minds, and we have somehow forgotten that the Word says he comes as a minister of light. We think of this scripture, for example, as if it is pertaining to church leaders who have been exposed for gratuitous spending, or the pastor who is caught molesting a child. The Word is actually speaking about those who are preaching a false gospel. Who do we believe Paul was referring to when he said this? Certainly, it would not be applicable to nonbelievers, because…guess what? They are non-believers – it would not be an issue among them. Paul was ONLY addressing believers. This counterfeit church system is firmly grounded and based on a false gospel.

We just want to interject here: we do not think all church leaders are bad people – for those who rationalize it, it is hard to overcome the flesh and set aside their desires over what God truly intended. When someone’s salary is involved, it is very difficult to see the truth – let alone want to see it. And, as God can use anything, there is good that can come out of some churches. That being said, there is good that comes out of secular organizations as well. Blacks in their segregated churches often met in them to energize the Civil Rights movement. On the flip side, so did the KKK. But these man-made churches have reaped far more harm than good. And any good – no matter how much – still does not negate the truth in God’s Word. Although the church system actually appears to be good, it has been detrimental to the Kingdom of God (we will be writing about this later).

In truth, we want to belong, and for those who are ruled by the flesh, going to church makes them feel good. Leadership tells them they are pleasing God by attending, and more importantly by giving to their organization. For many, we want others to see us dress up, and we feel proud of ourselves for dressing up. We like talking “Christianese”, and we want others to hear our Biblical prowess, as we fit a scripture or two into our conversations. What an insult to a Holy God, who does not esteem the things of man. “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight (Luke 16:15). If we talk, walk, and dress like a given “church” culture, we see ourselves as fitting in, and deem ourselves “spiritually worthy.” And we love it – we thrive on it! This is self-aggrandizement – the idolatry of self!

We CARE about what people think of us. But most importantly, we want others to see ourselves as being “spiritual.” Church leaders falsely promise us this will be the case, just as long as we attend THEIR churches and support them. They tell us by doing so, we are pleasing God. THAT IS A LIE FROM SATAN. Jesus only created one Church and that is the Body of Christ. It is much easier to be doing busy church work, participating in programs and meetings, and attending church than it is to have a real relationship with Jesus Christ. Men have convinced believers this is what a relationship with Jesus is all about. No – this is what a relationship with a church is about. Church has dethroned Jesus – He actually comes as a distant second. If you listen to the conversations of most believers, “church” is mentioned far more times than the name of Jesus. And Satan could not be any happier.

Who Was the Church in the New Testament?

“For as the body is one, and has many members, and all members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ” 1 Corinthians 12:12

Anytime the word Church is mentioned in the New Testament, it is referring to believers – PEOPLE ONLY. Church does NOT – nor has it ever refer to organizations, home groups, or anything created by man. The word “church” and its meaning cannot be found in the original scriptures. What we erroneously refer to as “church” today in the original scriptures was referred to as “The Ecclesia”, which always referred to people only – believers only. We will deal with the word “church” later, in another article. But do know this – the word “church” is not a translatable word of Greek or Hebrew origin – and it has an entirely different meaning than the word “Ecclesia.”

The Catholic Church is the first church in today’s vernacular and was started by Constantine, Emperor of Rome in 313 after his conversion to Christianity. After his so-called conversion, pagan temples that were all ready in existence in Rome, were referred to and used as “churches.” What we call and recognize as “church” originated out of the Roman Catholic Church, who created and manufactured “churches” (meaning created organizations and buildings) to support their authority and position.

Over 1,300 years after the birth of the Catholic Church, King James of the Anglican Church wanted to solidify his rule over England. He decreed that the word “church” was to substitute the word “Ecclesia” in his translation of the Bible. Not once have Ecclesia ever referred to what we in the world today call “church.” There are many historical documents to support this. But the most telling proof of all and the most ironic is God’s Word itself. Not only should this be clear by one reading the Bible on his or her own, but we have the original scriptures. The word “church” and its’ meaning are not found in God’s Word – absolutely NOWHERE in the original scripture.

In the New Testament, the word “Ecclesia” appeared 115 times in the original scriptures. As we stated before, King James substituted the word “church” in every instance except for three places. The word “church” is an English & German word in origin which means: something that pertains to, or belongs to a “lord” (not Jesus). King James knew the word “church” simply would not fit in place of the word “Ecclesia”, as in the original scriptures, so he kept the word “Ecclesia” in these 3 instances. His translators under the direction of Richard Bancroft, the Archbishop of Canterbury, were forced to abandon their false translation in these three instances. But, the Greek word Ecclesia is exactly in the same places where 112 entries were deliberately and falsely changed to “church.” The Greek word Ecclesia means “the called out ones.” Many words and intentionally misleading translations in the KJV were derived and influenced by Roman Catholicism. We will go into more depth about King James eventually.

Jesus Christ created only one Church –The Body of Christ. It is the ONLY Church He ever mentioned in the New Testament. Anything else is a product of man and is a counterfeit. Any believer who has declared Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior, is already a full, participating member of His Church. We have allowed church leaders to usurp Christ’s lordship in our lives. As church leaders exalt themselves by replacing the authority that only Jesus has, they would be nothing without us as their devoted followers. They are guilty of idolatry just as you are, and God will hold them accountable for deceiving His people. And He will hold you accountable as well. If a believer is truly following Jesus, he or she would not reject the precious gift He gave us, or willingly allow men to replace the authority that only belongs to Christ. You can not continue to function under the law, and receive grace.

You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. Galations 5:4

Never, throughout the time of Jesus, the apostles, or even Paul, was the word “church” used among believers. Believers during this time period were referred to as “followers of the way.” All believers in a given community were referred to as what we call “church” – although it is not what they called it. An example would be as if Paul was writing to the Church of Boston, the Church of Venice, the Church of New York, or the Church of Ghana. He was not referring to a building or an organization; he was referring to all the believers in that area or city. Anytime the word “church” is used (which started with the Catholic and KJV Bibles), in the original Scriptures it always referred to people only. Jesus meant it when He said we are to be a “house of living stones.” Tragically, the word “church” quite simply, and intentionally, replaced the word “Ecclesia”, yet the two have entirely different meanings.

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness” and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God. 1 Corinthians 3:16-23

Because Satan has successfully compromised the Body of Christ with the world’s standards, we have reinvented what God intended us to be. In the original scriptures, Jesus said upon this rock He would build His Ecclesia. Although, today’s translations have erroneously transcribed the word “church” instead of Ecclesia, what Jesus said still stands true. Even with the mistranslated word “church”, it should be very obvious to any believer who is walking in the Spirit that Jesus meant believers only. Church is not an organization, or a building; it is now and have always been solely the followers and believers of Jesus. Christ only created one “Church” – He never intended for us to be part of two. And what’s even more unsettling, is how we attribute more power to man’s counterfeit system and esteem it over the very church Jesus Himself built. There is no way around this – our churches are idolatrous man-made institutions.

Is Going to Church Biblical?

“The pagans had been accustomed to numerous and splendid ceremonies from their infancy, and they saw the new religion (Christianity) destitute of temples, altars, victims, priests, and all the pomp which the pagans supposed to be the essence of religion; for the unenlightened persons are prone to estimate religion by what meets the eyes.”

The answer is no. I’m sure that is surprising to many. The reason why is that the principles of the institutional church is based on the customs and traditions of man that are rooted in idolatry. For most, this is not apparent because their eyes are blinded from years of false teaching. You might be saying how can something that is supposed to be so good – be actually bad? It can if it is based on deception – courtesy of Satan who is the mastermind of deception. I think a prayer that no one can go wrong with, is to ask God to reveal His heart to you, and give you the strength and willingness to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. Our God is a very misunderstood God. That has been Satan’s plan all along. Our support of church organizations as incredulous as it sounds, is a betrayal at the very heart of what we have with Jesus Christ now.

We have one Teacher, one Master, one Instructor, and that is Jesus Christ. No one else is to be called such among believers. Why? Because Jesus Christ commanded it. Alright – let’s not get jest here – you and I both know that a Rabbi, a pastor, or a priest, fits in this command. Among believers, no one is to hold a title of preeminence among and over other believers.

But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ. But the greatest among you shall be your servant. (Matt. 23:8-11).

The elders in the New Testament guide and led other believers in the community, but they did not hold any positions of authority over them. They did not hold titles of preeminence over other believers. When you read of the elders in the New Testament, they literally were older men who lived in the community, who were trustworthy and respected. They did not have an office, or exalt themselves in any way over other believers. They were the men who believers in the community (the Church) could go to anytime for guidance and directions. They did not have office hours on Monday thru Friday for a couple of hours daily. All believers were the church – 244/7. When you see the word “Church” in the NT, it is referring to all believers in the community – not organizations or buildings. What we call “church” in today’s vernacular did not exist when the New Testament was written.

Any time you allow another man or woman usurp Christ’s lordship over your life; you and that person is guilty of idolatry. The command from Jesus is pretty straight forward. Don’t think so? Read the above Scripture again. How can you not see this? It is actually quite simple and direct. The only reason you miss it, is because you do not want to see it. You are listening to your natural desires. Believers love this thing we call “church”. It makes us feel spiritual and good about ourselves. And church leaders are quite adept at fostering such feelings from us. What we call spirit, is actually the flesh.

What we call “church” promotes the idea that believers do not have direct access to God. Instead, they require a middle-man, a person to mediate their relationship with God. That man or woman, is called, the pastor, priest, reverend, etc. What does God have to say about this? Once again, it is quite clear and straightforward. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Jesus death did away with believers going inside a structure under the guidance of a “spiritual leader” in order to find God and worship Him. In the Old Testament, all who entered the temple were subjected to the authority of the High Priest – but through Jesus death, only He is the High Priest now, and we are all priests onto Him.

You know that the lords of the Gentiles have domination over them, and they that are great, exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you. Matthew 20:25

For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. Hebrews 7:12

God has made it abundantly clear, that He does not reside in temples made of human hands. Church buildings, organizations, and temples – they are idols that we attribute spiritual significance to. There is unholy alliance between the building itself, the things inside it, and the rituals and protocols required by those who enter it. God that made the world, and all things that are therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands. Acts 17:24. Although God repeatedly tells us in His Word that He does not reside in anything made with human hands, we refuse to believe Him.

As a matter of fact, we insist that He must be wrong. We are adamant that He needs our church building in order to properly worship Him. We still worship Him as the Jews did in the Old Testament, and refute the biblical fact that Jesus has replaced the temples of the past. We discount that Jesus clearly said that we are now in Him, and that we are as “living stones.” We insist God is more preeminent inside this thing we have built with our own hands – as oppose to outside of it. If you happened to say it’s the people inside the building that matters, than it is also true that it is the people outside the building that matters. We refuse to let go of the Old Covenant.

How did Israel in the Old Covenant worship God?

  • (1) They built and maintained a temple/building.
  • (2) They had a congregational meeting that had a repetitive in a format that  started with praise and worship.
  • (3) They made offerings and tithes.
  • (4)  Men were told they were required to enter the temple to worship God.
  • (5) There was the High Priest who was in authority over those who entered.

Hmm, that sounds familiar…

The whole process, the church itself, and its rituals are seen as spiritual entities. We have been led to believe that the man or woman preaching up front, has a special anointing of the Holy Spirit, and that he or she must somehow know more spiritually than we do. No one can pass their anointing to another person – (a mystical concept) promoted by church leaders. We revere our church leaders – we idolize them. Many falsely assert that they are able to maintain a mystical “covering” over their followers – if you will, like an umbrella of protection. It is a false teaching. There are those who even believe that just by entering a church building or being among a crowd of believers, it will automatically produce or release some sort of anointing or protection over them. That is directly from a demonic spirit of mysticism and idolatry.

Church leaders know how to cater to this notion, by ensnaring believers into this mystical web of deception and convincing them that their needs can be met by attending their church. They are portrayed as the believer’s source, instead of Jesus Christ. It is their way of conveying and convincing the believer that they and their church organizations, are necessary in order to get God to operate on the believer’s behalf. Although they proclaim Jesus is the source, they tout themselves as the necessary source and first step to get Christ to move in their behalf. That is IDOLATRY. Such mysticism is not only on their part – but you are also culpable. Why? Because you have made a choice whether it’s based on ignorance or deception, to follow men over God.

Through Jesus death, we are to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. That is what God requires of us. Jesus said to the Samaritan woman that true worship of God does not depend upon a given place, but upon the right disposition of heart. Jesus said unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor at Jerusalem worship the Father. Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and Truth: for the Father requireth even such to worship him. God is a Spirit, and they that worship him, must worship him in Spirit and Truth. John 4:21-24

Going to church sends a message to the world that we are still under the law. We tell them we are free, but they clearly see that we are not. We tell them we are under grace, but they see us continue to operate under the law. They see the bondage we ourselves do not see, and they want no part of it. They see our God as one who requires us to do things, and engage in traditions in order for us to be accepted by Him. They see us dress up as the pagan worshipers of the past, because we convey to them a God who is shallow, legalistic, and mean. They see us pay a man or a woman to tell us what the Bible say, but who circumvent the word of God, and state they are in authority of other believers. They see us engage in the opposite of what the Bible tells us to do, and many conclude that our God is not the God of the Bible – or – even worse, does not exist..

It is nothing but idolatry to believe that being under a person with a religious title, or a building, or certain religious acts are required for our relationship with God. Jesus clearly tells us that when we are in contact with at least one other believer, that He is there as well. Nothing else is requited. For where two or three are gathered together in my Name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20  We refuse to accept God’s Word that Jesus through His death replaced all of these things – only because WE DO NOT WANT TO BELIEVE IT. This thing we call “church” is a counterfeit, and is from the kingdom of Satan.

Most believers want to do the will of God, and they have a desire to honor Him. However, the majority of what they believe is based in fear that has sprouted forth from error and false teaching. You cannot honor God if you are following men, and are still held captive in the law. Most believers think they have to enter a temple made with hands, to find God and worship Him inside it. How insulting must that be for Jesus Christ, who has clearly told us that He has replaced the temples of the past, and that we all now abide in Him. How insulting it must be to Jesus that we think we can buy Him off with our pagan worship practices. How insulting it must be to Jesus that we pay a man or woman to preach His Word to us, while rejecting the gift of grace and freedom He paid through His death. How insulting it must be that we say “no thanks” to His sacrifice on the cross, and still place ourselves under the dominion of man and the law. Sadly, most believers only have a religious relationship with God, and not a spiritual one.

These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men. Matthew15:8-9 8

The Purpose of This Site

There are over two billion Christians in the world – yet Jesus tells us that only a few will find the road to life. It would be wise to stop and think about this. Two billion… that’s a lot of people, yet only a few will find eternal life. Jesus was not just talking about non-believers – He was referring to believers as well. I’m sure many will take affront to that – we know it is a hard thing to swallow, but it is the truth. The road to everlasting life is actually a very narrow road – Jesus Christ meant every word when He said it.

So, I am going to give it to you straight. Only those who are willing to put Jesus first; above the approval of their friends, their churches, and the traditions and practices that they have been taught throughout the years, should proceed before reading what is written on this website. Those who are NOT willing to do that – need not go any further. But we hope you will have the courage to hear us out – at the end of the day it is your choice. You will have to make a decision: to cradle and protect the things you have been taught for over 1,700 years – OR – to delve into God’s Word with a willingness to read and see what the Scriptures really states for yourself. Believers have made an idolatrous substitute for Jesus – a substitute that is far more egregious than the golden calf Israel crafted and worshiped in the desert.

God’s Word tell us that He that is spiritual examines all things, and he himself is examined of no man.” 1 Corinthians 2:15 There is no doubt about it – God expects us to examine and look into all things when it comes to our relationship with Him. He does not desire for us to simply to run away from things we rather not hear. Is your faith so fragile, so shallow, that you unable to hear what another believer has to say? If it is, you need to ask your self why that is the case? Because I can assure you that is not the kind of faith God desires of you. We have a responsibility to listen to the perspective of others, and to search the Scriptures for ourselves.

The Bereans did not take Paul’s word at face value – they made sure what he said was sound and true. These were also more noble men than they which were at Thessalonica, which received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11 Someone once told me their pastor told them to not read or listen to anything that strays from what they have been taught – which in essence is a clear violation of Scripture. Such a command is a far cry from the command that God gave us – to examine all things. The choice is yours. Rest assured, God knows whether you are really protecting Him – or those things and teachings that have taken residence in your hearts. We are referring to those things that are idolatry – things that many believers falsely assume are good. Satan has done a real number on the Body of Christ. Jesus knew this however; and told us this will be the case.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, so that if it were possible, they should deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24

How is it possible that even the very elect will be deceived? Suffice it to say, when Jesus made this statement, He was referring to believers. He knew ultimately this would happen, so He warned us.

At lot is at stake here. Where you will spend eternity is at stake here. You need to decide if you’re going to stick with the crowd, or if you are going to be one of the few to walk through the narrow gate. I don’t think I can stand in judgment before God, knowing that I did absolutely nothing to reach others, or at least make some sort of an attempt to warn believers about the false gospel behind the institutional church. It is a false gospel that holds you and millions of others in bondage. That is why we started this website. I don’t think I could stand it, if God asks me, “Why did you not speak out against all of the idolatry among My people.” Most believers are ingrained in this deceptive rouse of Satan – and yes, we were part of this very system for many, many years.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galations 5:1

For those who are discounting what I am saying here, before you go – I do want to point out something to you. There is a theme that occurs throughout the Bible – in both the Old Testament and New Testament. Do you think you have an idea what it is? It has something to do with a select group of people – those who were deemed great men and women of the Bible. The theme is this: it was those people who were in the minority that did the will of God – not those who embraced the religious customs and protocols of the day. Those who truly served God, bucked against the religious system on some level – they did not worry about fitting in and ingratiating themselves with the majority. They did not seek the approval of others. Rather than focusing on the law and traditions of men, their hearts and Spirit were right before God.

I hope you will be bold and have the willingness to look into what we are saying here. I know it is not easy – I believed in the law, and the man-made religious system for many years. I was even part of a ministry – and it took God a long time to get through to me. I will be honest – I took great pride in being involved with a ministry. And let me tell you – that pride was not about God – it was about me. Church leaders are very good about fostering pride among their followers, while calling it spirit. I witness this on many levels. God eventually opened my eyes as to how I was relying on men to interpret the Scriptures for me, as oppose to reading and studying them for myself. Gradually, I began to see how I perpetuated the law, and I was administering death to others and not life by my participation in our man-made institutions.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14:12.

Jesus Christ built only One Church – God’s Ecclesia – The Body of Christ. Any other church is a product of man. Jesus clearly states there is only One Church – He let us know unequivocally that God no longer live in temples built with human hands. Jesus replaced the religious structures of the past, and now all believers are part of a spiritual assembly. If you can set aside your emotions and any hurt, we can prove this to you. How you ask? Very simply – with His Word. Believers have been indoctrinated with the rules and traditions of men for centuries, and this thing we call ”church” is the only thing we have ever known. The pure, simple, unadulterated truth has been staring you in the face all along.

*Please note, that we will use the word “church” to refer to organized religious institutions. In turn, we will reluctantly use the word “The Church” to refer to God’s people, but the true word in the original Scriptures is Ecclesia. Ecclesia has a different meaning than the word “church” which came many centuries later after the death of Christ. We will discuss more of this later, but for now and for clairity sake, we will stick to this format.
